If you are not familiar with the game already, I would not recommend trying it out on Professional right away, but do at least start on Normal, so that you can build notoriety. If you are a returning expert Hitman, you may wish to skip straight to the hardest difficulty and test your memory of this classic Hitman title. This time around, the difficulty achievements do stack, so only one playthrough is required for the difficulty-related achievements, but saves can no longer be manipulated to upgrade all the weapons in a single file. Though the game can be difficult, there are many excellent walkthroughs to consult, so the difficulty is rated low.
